A CLEANER AND SAFER PLACE FOR YOU TO TRAIN

Your safety, and that of our staff and self-employed PTs, is a top priority. In line with government guidance, we have trialed a number of measures and are making a number of changes to ensure that aUK Gym is a safe place for you to workout.

KEEPING A SAFE DISTANCE

EXTENSIVE AND FREQUENT CLEANING

Our gym will be deep cleaned every night with high-grade anti-viral disinfectant. The team will also clean every piece of kit and surface throughout the day, from dumbbells to treadmills and everything in between, so you can train with confidence.

CONTACTLESS ENTRY

Contactless entry with our new app or card can soon make your visit safer and easier.

HAND SANITISING STATIONS

You’ll find more hand sanitising stations around the gym so it’s easy to regularly clean your hands during your visit. We ask that you also sanitise your hands before entering the gym to keep yourself and others safe.

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP

  • We hope to make your gym experience as normal as possible but we have implemented measures to make aUK Gym Covid safe. Such as contactless entry, extra sanitizing stations and social distancing measures.
  • All equipment will be sanitised before and after use and you must respect our Covid Rules to keep all of our members safe.
  • Unfortunately Saunas and Showers will not be in use.

aUK will run on a max capacity so you will not need to book a time slot at present but aUK Gym will reserve the right to change to a booking policy and time slots if numbers exceed our safe level.

Please don’t worry, if you would like your membership to continue to be frozen please contact us on gym@a-uk.com so we can extend your freeze period.

We are now using the new Fitsense Mobile App powered by Clubwise which will provide you with individual QR codes to enter the gym, book classes, track progress and provide workout instructional videos to help you on your journey!

We’ve improved safety and hygiene for getting into the gym. You will be required to use your membeership card at our turnstile to gain entry.

We expect queues to be very unlikely but have put safety measures in place if you do need to wait a little before getting in. You can reduce the chance of queuing by planning your visit at a quieter time.

Yes, you can use the changing rooms. We are restricting the number of members in the changing rooms at the same time and have also taken a number of lockers out of use, and restricted use of sinks and hairdryers. We encourage people to change before and after the gym where possible, to avoid using the changing facilities.

Yes, but we have made some changes to keep members safe. We have reduced the spaces and limited the timetable to classes that help members keep a safe distance from others.

Your payment was frozen when we closed and will remain frozen until your gym re-opens.

  • If you have a Monthly payment membership and you dont require crediting please sign up through either our new standard or rolling memberships.
  • If you have a Monthly payment membership and you require crediting please sign up through either our new standard or rolling memberships then we will process your membership so that you first 2 months are not charged.
  • If you have an advanced membership please sign up via our VIP Membership (code will be sent to you). Your membership will then be updated with your respective amount of days remaining on your membership.
  • If you had a Monthly payment Membership and you require crediting but don’t want to commit to a new membership please sign up to our VIP Membership (code will be sent to you). On sign up your membership will be credited with 2 months. No payment will be required.
  • After each sign up you will receive your login details for our new Fitsense App via email and text so you can use your personalised QR code to enter the gym.
  • For all other membership queries please email gym@a-uk.com

aUK ltd is a brand new company howether we have absorbed the pts by the new company so we are happy to book your PT sessions as soon as we return.

  • Classes will resume on August 1st.
  • Classes will start on a limited basis and will become more frequent as social distancing measures ease.
  • Each person will be designated their own training area with their own kit which they will stay in for the duration of the class.
  • Therefore clases will have a limited capacity but these can be booked via our Fitness app.
